The parent is going crazy cause a chaperone duct-taped the students’ doors so that they would know if the curfew had been broken on a field trip.
I don’t know about you guys but everytime I went on a school trip and stayed in a hotel, the chaperones would put a piece of tape (usually duct) on the door so they would know if we we had gone out in the night. No way was it enough to hinder escape in an emergency. I’m not condoning this, just saying that this happened all the time - and not due to student safety at all. More for the safety of all the other people in the hotel from us students.
Yeah, they did that to us every band trip and it was no big deal. It wouldn’t stop you from opening the door, it just showed if you had opened the door.
