CLEVELAND BROWNS 35, NEW YORK GIANTS 14!!!!!
I’m not lying. The Browns pummeled the undefeated Giants in last night’s MNF game. Eli Manning was intercepted 3 times, the last for a 94 yard return touchdown in the 4th quarter. The Browns were playing awesome and Derek Anderson was on fire, essentially quenching the Brady Quinn takeover rumors for another week. The Giants were pitiful against the run and the deep ball on defense and couldn’t get anything going with their offense.
The bad part of the game was that the Browns were just defeating themselves. They got somewhere in the range of 5 false start penalties against them and probably got a total of about 10 penalties in the game altogether. Can’t have a winning season playing such undisciplined football.
But we’ll take what we got. The Browns are now 2-3 and right in the mix with the playoff contenders of the AFC. To everyone who thought I was crazy for picking the Browns to win, you were right. I was crazy. But sometimes crazy pays off.
