Ok, less scary Halloween themed post. That clown is killing me. I can’t even look at my own blog without being all freaked out. All I can say is this: please, oh please, let me avoid all peoples dressed as clowns tomorrow.

Here’s a funny to drive away the evil clown thoughts from my head.

EVEN STEVPHEN: HALLOWEEN from DailyShow.com.

I have Halloween on the brain because of all the preparations we are doing for our office pumpkin carving contest (ours is gonna rock). So, I thought to get y’all in the mood, here is the absolute scariest picture I could find. It didn’t take me long. I can barely even look at this picture, it is affecting me physically even to glance at it. So Happy Halloween – One Day Early. I’ll be back with more.

Pennywise the Clown, from the TV miniseries IT based on the Stephen King book. Scariest ass book I’ve ever read and the miniseries has scared me since it first aired back in 1990 (yes I was allowed to watch it when I was 7). I made the mistake of watching this before I went to bed last Saturday night and I was literally hiding under my covers. I am so freakin scared of clowns.

TOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom Brady on “Family Guy” on TBS right now. I’ve seen this one so many times but it is always funny.  I love that the team was playing the Redskins.

“You wouldn’t even know what to do with it.” Uh I can think of a lot of things to do with “it” thank you. 🙂

EDIT: And as I look at this picture, the current #88 is Kyle Brady who is not African American. But that’s okay.

Hehehe, “The Saint” episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent is on Bravo tonight at 9. I was going to catch up on America’s Next Top Model but I may need to watch this instead. Yay goat letter. 🙂 And yay for those of you reading this understand what the hell I’m talking about.

Also, OMG you will not believe the email I just got about Earnest. Instead of a sympathetic reply or a “good job” to my email last week saying I was overwhelmed, I get an email saying that all these things are very time senstive and that I need to let them know right away if I can’t do something. Grrr. I sent back a very snarky email (probably it wasn’t that snarky). Effing people.

I am so entrenched in The Daily Show and the other shows that now feature past correspondents from The Daily Show, it is sometimes nice to think back to when I was in high-school and first started watching TDS. I was reading over on the Television Without Pity Forums that someone who just saw Dan in Real Life credited Steve Carell with getting them into TDS. A lot of people as obsessed with Stephen Colbert as I am would credit their introduction to the show to him. But not me. I’m very proud that I can remember the first segment of The Daily Show that made me come back the next night and then for 7 and a half years after that. I did watch Indecision 2000 but then I kind of forgot about the show. Until February 2001 and this video clip:

“Whacking the Pachyderm”

So thank you, Nancy Walls. We all love you as Carol on The Office but I still think of you as the correspondent who got me to fall in love with The Daily Show, all because you masterbated an elephant. And you are by far the best female correspondent the show has ever had. I’m so excited this clip is finally up over at DailyShow.com

EDITED TO ADD: I love watching these old clips of TDS, pre 9/11. The humor is so offbeat, the audience is barely even laughing.

OH YEAH!!!!

CLEVELAND BROWNS WON!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, they were playing the Rams who have not won a game yet this season, but I do believe this puts the Browns at ….. 4-3. Hell yeah!

In sadder news, Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati and the Colts beat the Panthers. 😦 That’s okay. The Colts can hang onto their undefeated record for one more week. It’ll be gone come next Sunday.

And I’d really like it if the Patriots would go ahead and score already. EDITED TO ADD: Ask and ye shall receive. And not only did the Pats score, but Tom Brady dove in for a touchdown cause no one was open to throw to. So the dude doesn’t even need receivers. Man oh man. That was cool. But Tom, I need to ask you something. Are you really too busy to get a quick haircut? That buzz cut thing you did a year ago would look better than what you got now. Oh, and you just scored a touchdown. You are allowed to smile.
